Place your pot of gold on a 12x12 blank sheet of paper where you think the bottom of the rainbow is hiding. Add your name! 3. Save it for web (600x600) and upload it to this thread. 4. I'll collect them all and we will do a live reveal on Monday! You don't have to be present at the chat to win. It'll be more fun though! Thanks again to Becca for providing the awesome pot of gold and bonus coupon! Feel free to post any questions in this thread below.
thank you Becca and Courtney - although my pot looks bigger than Anne-Marie's does. I'm guessing that's due to me using different software. I often find that some 12 x 12 papers import as 37.5 x 37.5 inches instead because of how my software interprets the files sizes. So I'll assume something similar has happened here.
No problem! Sometimes they end up slightly different sides, and that's okay. It always works out in the end!
I can't make it to the chat because I'll be in the middle of my shift at the box office. I'll try to remember to think lucky thoughts at the right time. The alpha I used for my name is from Etc By Danyale's Full of Blarney kit.
My guess is that your dpi is set to something smaller than 300dpi. If fact using the sizes you gave, your dpi is set at 96. A 12x12" paper at 300dpi is 3600 pixels. If your dpi is set at 96, then those 3600 pixels become 37.5x37.5". You really want a 300dpi if you are going to print your pages, while 96 dpi (or even 72 dpi) is fine for the web.
