My back surgery is this Friday! I've only been waiting over 5 months. Still freaking about about the surgery and the recovery, but so excited to have the pain go away! I have to be there at 5 am. Any positive thoughts are appreciated. Amy
hooray for being able to see the end in sight! i can totally understand being nervous about the surgery, but i'm sure you'll do just fine!

oh, Amy... I so feel your pain... and anxiety (as I procrastinated and waited 2 agonizing years) when I think back to the day of my surgery, I was more nervous about the general anesthesia than the operation while in post-op, I was able to get up (pain free at last) and walked down the hall, where I unexpectantly met my neurosurgeon getting off the elevator, who said, "well, I see today's procedure was successful!" lol the one thing I do remember about my recovery once home, was using a "walker" that I thankfully borrowed from a friend, because I could not for the life of me get out of my bed, (I could get in the bed just fine, but couldn't get out of it, no way, no how) will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! deborah
