I just got the Feverborn download on my Nook. I was #10 on the wait list through my main library web site, but when I went into 3M Library directly on my nook it let me check out the book right away. Not sure what is up with that, but I'm reading now!

I loved Iced and thought Burned was soso. Hoping Feverborn will be better.

I am obsessed with the first 5. like seriously obsessed. Jericho Barrons is my book boyfriend FOREVER! I couldn't ever get into Iced. I tried sooooo many times so I haven't ready of the new ones. :(

You should try again if only so you can get to Burned. :byay

Iced wasn't my favorite - no Barrons & Mac - but Burned has much more of them in it plus some other big dark and twisties. Just race through it! :circles

interesting. thank you. description reminds me a bit of the Shadowhunter series with all the talk of the different types of characters and of course the hint of romance :) . I may have to see if I can grab book 1 from the library.

I read something like three or four of the Fever books and thought that was the end of them... I'm going to have to see if I even remember where I left off and what I'm missing!

I remember the first time I picked up Iced I was really put off by Dani. I had just recently read the first five, and my mom gave me no warning that Iced was from Dani's point of view. I had to put it down and just not read it. Then a few months later I was bored and picked it up again.... and well, just fell in love with her. I personally think Iced is the best book out of all of them. And some of it is from Christian's point of view which, and had some really disturbing stuff. But thought provoking and interesting.

I think you should give it another try. However, I was fairly disappointed in Burned. I finished Feverborn a couple days ago. I liked it better than Burned, but it just didn't have the magic of Iced or the first 5. They both just felt "small" to me compared to the other books. But I will still look forward to more!

You could argue there is more than a "hint" of romance. There is a lot of tension and build up .... and ultimately some pretty explicit scenes. I don't know about you, but I like that just fine in my urban fantasy.
