Here's mine. I used a gradient on the dot and tree background papers. Thanks for the challenge!

 

I made this for Soco's new templates but I wonder if it's "noticable" of a gradient enough for this challenge? I'm just here for the fun of it as you know, but if this is a bad example for the challenge I will gladly delete my post. I certainly do not want to be the bad sheep in this challenge lol

Well, I dreaded doing this and really struggled with figuring out how to make a gradient, but I am happy with the end result.

I love ombre effects! In this layout I kept it subtle with two bg papers of the same colour: one with and one without pattern.

 

Always great to learn new techniques, , thanks for the challenge!
