February Photography Challenge

thank you for the photography prompt.

 

@lcpereyra, I couldn't resist lifting your title. This was a fun challenge that gave me the incentive to take and scrap another photo of what is outside my window each day.

 

What a fun challenge! I never take pics of the backyard during winter unless there is snow.

I photographed my view from the car watching my son play in the snow while I stayed warm-ish on a rare-until-this-year below-freezing day.

Thanks for the challenge, first photo scrapped from my bestie's visit.

 

I went with two photos, the view from our garage door and a screenshot of the weather app, temps in F,
so -3 F = -19.4 C and with the wind chill, -16 F = -26.7 C

 

How amazing are these posts! People in sunshine and Summer in Australia to a full on freezing Winter in Canada! Here in Nepal it's somewhere in the middle. The nights are still quite cold (not snow cold) but the days are starting to warm up, thankfully. Going to get a photo from the roof top tomorrow for this one! (They have the most colourful houses here! Lots of washing lines on the roof tops on Saturdays. They only get a one day weekend here!)

 

Here in the Riverland, South Australia we are slowly recovering from the worst river flooding we have had for over 30 years, but the weather has been sunny without a cloud in the sky for some weeks now!

 

It's definitely still winter; however, it is finally bright and blue instead of grey and snowy!

 

Finally we got some decent snow and I went around town to take some pictures.
Lynn Grieveson's kit was the perfect colors for this.
