I knew that I wanted to use this book as soon as I saw the challenge. This book had such an impact on me, its part of trilogy set post apocalyptical Iowa and about survival not only of mankind but of humanity. Humanity sometimes hangs by a thread. I felt this cover and book needed no photo
I was inspired by the large layered circles in the background

and here is my take on it - I loved the shape (and perfect for soccer pictures) and the colors being really rich and earthy

This will be the cover of an album I am making about our cruises in Oct. 2021. I modeled it after a travel book which is below my page, which is here in the gallery.

Here's the cover I chose..
... and my page.. I tried to keep like colors together - just white on the top strip, then blue, then green. I'm really pleased with how it came together, and it kept my indecision in check which helped speed things along, too.
