Hello Everyone! Fresh off a busy month of MOC, you're raring to go. MOC was and always is fast, exciting, fun and a little stressful! So, let's keep going for February! This month I'm hosting the Inspiration Challenge. I've decided that we are going to be inspired by some pretty pages created last month during MOC 9. I'm showing you 5 layouts, and want you to choose a single thing from each layout to inspire the page you create. List your inspiration when posting your layout! Here are the chosen inspirational layouts: From January 1st, Blind Scrap by Monica (@umyesh) From January 5th, Fill A Fourth by Jaye (@jaye) From January 14, Filled Style by Roxana (@Roxana) From January 15, Clean & Simple by Stefanie (@Eyeore) And lastly, from January 24, Complimentary Colors by Caro (@CaroB71) So, you will choose at least one thing that inspires you from each layout. (Or more than one thing!) Combine those inspirations and create your page. List what inspired you when posting your layout! Have fun scrapping - I can't wait to see what you create! Here is my page. Inspired by: 1. Blue Background/Diagonal Paper 2. Scripty Title/Snowflakes/String 3. Circle Photo/Stitching/Black and White Words Papers 4. Split Page Design/Single Photo 5. Flowers/Greenery and Cluster Location Remember: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the February Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from The Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Inspired by layouts in order in the post 1. the tag 2. woodgrain background 3. scatter (I used a heart scatter) 4. little flower 5. paint
Here's my take. Thanks for the challenge! The inspiration I took from the layouts was: Dark Blue Cardstock Woodgrain Stitching Torn Paper Paint
This was fun! Here's my take on the challenge: 1. A tiny stroke of extra background paper 2. Textured background 3. Black and white with a tiny touch of color 4. Vertical photo (I chose a journal card) 5. Big cluster on the right
1. Paper strip down the left edge 2. Painty layers on the background 3. Circular photo 4. Date tag and wordart 5. Large flower anchoring the photo visually.
I was inspired: 1. Dark blue background 2. 2 different blue flowers and title on top of photo 3. Circular photo 4. Split page (2 papers) with wonky edge 5. Collage paint and string behind photo
1 - Sky 2 - White Frame behind photo 3 - Clouds 4 - Title 5 - Solid Background 2015.09 --- Chasing Rainbows by rdjrneace posted Feb 2, 2021 at 6:49 PM
