I chose the geometric background technique and the columnar design challenge. I think you mentioned it was OK to veer slightly away from the challenge as long as it was inspired by it, right? A few of my elements peeked outside of the column, but it's still very "columnar."
Another Wonderful Challenge!...I Had So Much Fun Combining 2 MOC6 Challenges...I Went With Day 30-All In A Row-I Literally Stuck To The Singular Row Part Then I Combined It With Day 28-Inside A Triangle But I Took Some Poetic License With The Triangle Part...I Started Out Thinking I Was Gonna Blend All Of The (5) Photos I Used In My Layout...Together Inside One Triangle But I Started Playing Around & I Liked Them Better Side By Side Looking More Linear & Even More Graphic As I Placed Them In The Row...I Stuck To The Original Idea Of Not Placing Any Elements Outside The Row & Just Went For A Graphic Punch With Just A Rather Large WA Placed On Top Of All The Triangle Photos Letting The Photos Do The Talking & Lastly I Shadowed Everything To Make Everything Pop Even More... *For My RED Layout-I Used-Good Stuff-Add-On-Allison Pennington*
Here is my take on the February 2018 Inspiration Challenge. I choose to be inspired by the Clean and Simple Challenge and the Creativity with Alpha's Challenge
Mine is based on January 10: Clean and Simple (Style Challenge) and January 4: Change Your View (Photography Challenge)
i choose: January 12: Throwback Photo (Photography Challenge) January 15: Filled Layout (Style Challenge)
I did combine 6 designers day 27 and recipe day 18 1 Kristin Aagard - Seaworthy 2 Just Jaimee - Seaworthy Storyteller July 2017 3 Sara Gleason - Paper white confetti 4 Tangi Baxter - Splatter Grafitti Bundle 5 Sahlin Studios - Project Mouse: Food 6 Pink Reptile Designs - Embrace 1.Start with 1 solid paper for your background. It must be a solid. It can have texture but no patterns. DONE 2.Add 1 BIG photo - NO OTHER PHOTOS ALLOWED. It must take up at least 1/2 of your page. It can be bigger, but I must still be able to see some of the solid background paper. DONE 3.Add 1 or more shape(s) (rectangles, squares, circles, triangles, hexagons, scallops, chevrons) to your layout and fill the shape(s) with solid or pattern paper as desired. These can be paper layers, but I must still be able to see the solid background. 3 CIRCLES AT BOTTOM OF PHOTO 4.Spice it up by adding 1 or more word art(s) to your layout. DONE 5.Sprinkle on ONLY 1 scatter. (FYI: Paint is NOT a scatter). DONE 6.Top off your layout with 3 or more elements in addition to what you have already added, but remember you can ONLY have 1 scatter and 1 photo TOTAL on your layout. DONE - PAINT, 2 JOURNAL CARDS, SPEECH BUBBLE 7.Finish your layout to taste with shadowing, journaling, a date or an awesome title. These are all optional. Add what you want from what's listed in this step, but NOTHING ELSE can be added! DONE
