What a month! Ya'll have been moving and grooving with my favorite part of scrapping: letters. You have done your own handwriting, taken alpha/fonts and made them into other things (butterfly, bugs and well dressed ladies), and then dressed letters up in the most gorgeous of ways. So, today, NO alphas, fonts or handwritten letters will be used in the challenge portion of your page. Today, I need at least ONE WORD to be made with anything but an alpha, font or handwritten. YEP, you need to do art for a journaling word. or these are examples. In art journaling, one of the aspects that I adore is to take words and using our digital abilities and elements, try and bring the point across, using art or things to take the place of words. This challenge is to use your stash of fun, and create letters to MAKE ONE WORD. This isn't cut out a letter from a page, but CREATE your letters. Here is my page, using elements to create the word HOPE: small print, I do believe there is a coupon for one random selected person who took part in my ramblings this month. I shall endeavor to have that to you next Wednesday, the 7th of March. I can not wait to see your letter creations!
I was determined not to be last this time, Thanks for a fun month. EDIT; just in case you cant make it out; I love Leaf fall
I created an ATC for this week's Monthly Muse challenge. I used rigatoni, spaghetti and farfalle pastas to spell out the word "Pasta" on the journaling card - guess I'm having pasta for dinner tonight!
So MANY cool pages here!!! I used antiquing pieces for the letters. I can hardly wait to open my booth at the Antique Mall. Working now on some furniture and other art pieces! GREAT CHALLENGES, @AnneofAlamo
That was fun! I love searching my stash, and now it was under a totally new light. Thank you for the challenge. You always come up with the most original ideas! @AnneofAlamo
Oh yes! I'm not late then! lol! Not that it matters. I've been striving to do ALL the monthly muses forever! (Still need to do January's though!!)
I am so glad that I poked my head in here. Cos I was so inspired by the prompt that I did more than I shud. And I'm loving it too!!! This will be my 1st digital dashboard for March 2018 bullet journal. The text reads "Anyone can love a rose. But it takes a great deal to love a leaf".
This was so much fun - I love it when the idea comes easy and sticks the whole way through. I've really enjoyed this set of challenges, thanks so much Anne :-D
