Excited & wanted to share!

    This past week was short - but surely a whirlwind! On Tuesday I interviewed for an internal position at my agency (I work for a non-profit). I didn't think it went awesome. On Thursday morning my CEO and CDO made an appointment with me and by Thursday afternoon I had been offered, and accepted, a promotion! :yesss It is a huge step within the agency - I went from entry level to management. I'm our new Director of Grant Writing & Management - or will be in 2 weeks. There are so many awesome things about this but one that I am most excited about is that it's mostly a Monday-Friday, 9-5 job....no more nights & weekends like I'm doing all too often now! :woot

    Oh that is wonderful!!! Congrats!! How terrific that they've already seen what you can do and made the promotion happen so quickly...that has to feel great. I bet this is going to make your schedule so much easier during DH's deployment too.
