I haven't figured out how to drag from the bin onto my layout without it creating a separate page that I have to delete once I drag it from there onto my page KWIM? I'm not sure about PSE15, but in PSE 14 and others I drag down to the bin to add photos to my layout.

For example: I'll usually have a working copy of my template open and any photos that I want in my bin. Then, I'll make sure that I'm just above the photo layer in the template. Then, I'll click on the photo I want to use. That makes the photo active in the work area. Next, I'll click and drag the photo down to the bin to my layout and let go when I see the + sign. Now the layout is active in the top work area. If I drag up from the work bin then it makes the photo a smart layer and I have to simplify it. I hope that helps you a bit.
 
@keepscrappin Thx Kayla. I'll try that. I need to watch some PSE vids. I'm so used to using PS that it seems so weird to be doing things differently in PSE and things are named differently too LOL.
 
I just place them one at a time into my LO. I don't like to have a bunch of files open & often hide things I'm not sure I want to use.
 
I'm a one-at-a-time girl. I get overwhelmed otherwise. I admire those who can pull everything onto the page rearrange them and BAM there's a page... I can spend 5 minutes on one element and still not be happy!
