***CLOSED***DYD Slow Scrap instructions: For this scrap you must use two DYD products, they can be current product, or product from past years. You may also use any other product you need to complete your layout

    1. Split your Background. You can do horizontal or vertical or diagonal. It does not have to be an even 50 50 split. Use two different papers in each split.

    2. Use one photo. It must be somewhere on the split of your BG. It must be framed or stroked in a circle (You can use an oval shape instead of a circle if needed)

    3. Use 10 of the same “element” to surround your photo with. You can use 10 trees, 10 flowers 10 snowflakes 10 leaves etc. They do not have to be the same element repeated, but can if you want.

    4. Add some Paint, or Gesso, or scatter somewhere behind your photo.

    5. Add a title touching your photo. You can use a font or word art.

    6. You may add up to 5 more elements of your choice on your layout.

    7. Finish off your layout with a date and/or journaling

    Here is my finished layout:

Sorry I missed the chat this morning but I spent the morning with tech support trying to get my computer unlocked and cleaned up. I think there is still something wrong as I cannot see the choices to copy to paste my layout link in. So, I am, instead using the link to the page. Hope that will work for you.

It was a fun challenge and I used kits from the 2021 and 2018 DYD offerings.

I used 10 pieces of Christmas foliage (holly, berry sprigs, pine/fir/spruce boughs), along with a paper piece that is scalloped, a paper piece with a Christmas tree on it, a circular coin with a Christmas tree on it, two scatters of sequins and some gesso. I used papers and elements from Lynn Grieveson's Festivus DYD collection and elements from Rachel Jefferies' Inglewood Mixed Media Artistry DYD set, along with random other bits and pieces. My supplies are all listed and linked in the gallery.

Thanks for the instructions! My daughter (13 at the time) found this big red bow in the Christmas gift wrap box and wore it on her head all day. So funny!
