Hello! Are you in the mood for kicking off the December celebration with some games and challenges? Welcome to the Document Your December 2023 happenings!

I bring you the DYD cover challenge this year. You can make any type and any size of album cover and it doesn’t need to be a cover for this year!

I have made two covers, one digital for 2022 and one hybrid for this year. I actually made a whole album cover, I just haven’t decided how to fasten my pages in it yet. And to be honest I haven’t decided if I’m going for a hybrid album either, that’s why I haven’t put a year on the cover yet, that way I can save it for later.

Here are my covers, the first digital one is made with A Christmas Story Kit by Anita Designs

I have one more inspiration page for you by @StefanieS and she included a place holder for a photo on her beautiful page.



Here are the rules:
  1. Create a new DYD album cover. You can use a template for your cover if you like.
  2. If you make a hybrid cover, your entry will be counted as two.
  3. Layouts must contain a minimum of 50% TLP products to comply with our gallery standards. Any templates used count for a total of 15%.
  4. You must post your layout in the TLP gallery and then post in this thread with a link to the gallery image of your page.
  5. This challenge closes on Monday, November 13 at 11:59pm EST. A random entry will win a $3 coupon to The Lilypad store.

Hoping to get last year's done while working on this year's albums! Fingers crossed!
 
First: I loved the ornament template freebie, I used it again for this cover.

Second: Since I'm still working on last years DYD album, I'm gonna make it easier this year. Plan to just take a photo a day to document my December.

Third: Doing this in A4 format for easy printing, if I decide to print it.
