DSD Slow Scrap 9/30

Come join us in the chat room for some DSD fun!! The chat / slow scrap starts in about 20 minutes. If you can't make the scrap, but still want to play along, I'll be posting the steps here in this forum thread. You will have 24 hours to complete you slow scrap page once the chat is over. Those who complete a page will receive a coupon code for $3 in the store!!

 

First, let me start with a huge THANKS to everyone who stopped by to chat with us! It was great getting to know you all a little better. I hope you have fun with the slow scrap! You have 24 hours to post your layout in the SPEED SCRAP gallery and in this thread. If you have time, please leave some love for the other scrappers as well! We all love to feel the love on DSD weekend!! Once the scrap has closed, I will send out coupon codes to everyone who finished a page per the following instructions:

1. CHOOSE A NEUTRAL BACKGROUND PAPER. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A SOLID, BUT IT SHOULD BE NEUTRAL COLOR(S)
2. CHOOSE 1 PHOTO TO REALLY SHOW OFF - MAKE IT 4X6 OR LARGER. YOU MAY ADD OTHER PHOTOS IF YOU WANT.
3. ADD PAINT / SPLATTER / SPILLS - SOMETHING TO GRUNGE IT UP A BIT. NO LIMIT TO HOW MUCH YOU CAN THROW ON THERE
4. ADD FOLIAGE - LEAVES, BRANCHES, FLOWERS, ETC. USE REALISTIC IF YOU HAVE IT, BUT DOODLED ELEMENTS ARE OK TOO. (you do not have to use all of the items - just something from the list - some type of foliage)
5. ADD A TITLE. USE AT LEAST 2 ALPHAS OR FONTS.
6. ADD 3, 5, OR 7 BITS OF FLAIR OR EMBELLISHMENT - SOMETHING THAT'S NOT GRUNGE OR FOLIAGE. (the point of this is to choose an odd number of items, either 3 or 5 or 7).
