I answered "no, we don't do Santa" becaus ethat's how I grew up. BUT, I guess for DH and I it might be changing. Our little ones are almost-3, 16 months, and 3 months this Christmas, and he wants to be Santa :). Besides my oldest already sees Santa on his TV shows, etc. DH says the kids will figure it out when they're a little older and it won't scar them for life finding out that Santa isn't real?! I'm not so sure... I think he just wants the cookies!!! So I guess this year Santa will magically deliver presents under the tree on Christmas Eve, and eat the peanut butter cookies we bake for him. Who knew Santa really prefers peanut butter to chocolate chip cookies? Learn somethin' new every day...

I said no to Santa presents being wrapped b/c I loved having all of their gifts lying out so when they woke up they were smothered with gifts and saw immediately what Santa brought. Plus, he was too busy to wrap their presents and deliver them too! Now, since they're older, we don't do it anymore.

^ditto
Well, minus the too old part. My parents get us presents from Santa so long as we live there or are there overnight Christmas eve. lol And John and I get each other presents from Santa... stocking stuffers too!

We don't do Santa. We want the boys to focus on the true spirit of the season and not get so caught up in the commercial hype. But, they do get plenty of presents to open on Christmas morning from Mommy and Daddy and they are all wrapped up and tied with beautiful ribbon! :)

yea at our house we are all about commercial and Santa is the focus of Christmas for the little one! LOL. We aren't religious in the least, we've never been to church so our kids only know the manger story from the children's pop up book. Weird I know

Yup, Santa wraps his gifts for the kiddos....albeit always a DIFFERENT kind of wrapping paper that none of them have seen Mom using, lol!

santa doesn't wrap presents in our house ... but i could see that changing someday if my kids are anything like i was - i used to wake up a few hours before everyone else and play with all my sisters toys before anyone woke up - santa began wrapping gifts shortly thereafter ;)

lmbo.
I still wake up a few hours early and go peek in the living room so I can see what "Santa" brought me. :giggle

santa doesn't wrap, but mommy and daddy do.
santa only brings one 'big' gift to each girl though. every thing else is from us.

It never occured to me that Santa wouldn't have time to wrap the gifts. Darnnit! I could have saved myself that work! We are pretty close to having to fess up about Santa, but it's fun for now. We do Santa, but we make sure that the kids know the real reason for Christmas first and foremost. I'm kind of looking forward to them knowing about Santa in a way. Jordan, I wish I had the guts to just skip Santa altogether like you!

We never really did Santa. He just wasn't a really big part of Christmas. We didn't write letters to Santa, make cookies, etc... I guess if it had been a big deal for each of us growing up, we would've continued it, but it wasn't. My boys were all skeptics too and knew at a very young age that he was not real.

Santa didn't wrap presents when we were kids. That's how we knew they were from him and not our parents. Some years, Santa leaves me a present that is wrapped - because I like to get myself gifts and wrap them and then act surprised.

Everything is wrapped because I figured the whole fun of Christmas was the unwrapping of the gifts. Once I had 5 kids I was cursing myself for this, but it was too late. lol. Santa uses different wrapping paper, and writes in cursive and Mom prints.

This is our last year for Santa, though. Kids are all old enough to know better. I'll probably still put stuff out from him next year. lol

Santa plays a part in our house. He doesn't wrap the presents but Mrs. Clause would be totally offended if he didn't so she wrap them for him. Hehehe, no we just wrap our presents because I like the kids to have something to open. I never thought about the different wrapping paper, may have to do that this year. DD6 is already asking questions about Santa. I'm so sad because I assumed she would be much older before she figured it out.

In our house, Father Christmas just leaves little gifts in the children's stockings. He wraps them in different paper to the family gifts, of course! :)
