Question, has standard time started in the USA? Looking at the time conversions they feel like they’re a couple hours later than they were before. I know one of the hours is attributed to the fact New Zealand “sprung forward” a few weeks back so just wondering
That makes perfect sense @cfile, I knew there was a bit of a transition period but just wasn’t 100% certain when the time changed for you guys. For example 9pm EST was 1pm for me, when daylight saving kicked in for me it became 2pm for a couple of weeks and now with standard time having started it’s now 3pm. To be honest I’m very grateful for the links to check the time conversions, without it I’d be lost. If nothing else the time change should allow me to attend some of the earlier events now that they’re at a more reasonable time for me.
No worries... I think it is weird for all of us.. and here in the US, Arizona is the only state that does not change time so it is weird with the time for them too Glad we could sort you out!
I saw the first house decorated with lights ON for Christmas on Monday evening, so I guess that means it's time to get ready for Christmas! Bring on the DYD!
Most of the challenges are focused on Christmas or December memories. Some might work for everyday type memories too though.
I do think these can be altered to work for all faiths. Nothing is set in stone for Christmas per se.
Hey all, I'm trying to jump in but am SO lost. Super experienced scrapper from the "glory days" (and somewhat digiscrapper) but it feels like it's too late for Bingo and I was supposed to do the other by 2 hours ago. What CAN I jump into, and how? (If it's too late, just let me know.) Thank you!
Welcome (back)!! There are lots of games and scraps that you can still partake in. See HERE - aside from Bingo and the White Elephant game the rest are open. Some things are just tips, others are games and others are scraps. Have fun! Plus these events are still going forward. Saturday @ 9pm EST - in chat room Sunday @ 4pm EST - see HERE Monday @ 9pm EST - in chat room
