Is there anything you nearly always put on a scrapbook page? I noticed a couple of years ago that I nearly always include a heart on my pages and since then I've kind of done it purposefully. But sometimes I don't think about it, like today. I was looking at my MOC thread after posting today's page and thought for a second that I hadn't put any hearts, but I did! And there are hearts on my first two MOC pages too!
I don't think I always put a particular type of element, but I always include the date on the page somewhere.
I definitely am drawn to a certain style when I'm creating a page (though I admire all styles, I'm just not good at executing them). Most of my pages contain a combination of flowers, foliage and bows clustered together.
There's nothing I intentionally use on every page, but nearly every page I scrap has ribbon or string. A close runner up is foliage, even on pages without flowers.
I hadn't really thought about it but I always like to have a title and the date on each layout. I also like to cluster, even a little one on c&s pages.
That's kind of fun that you include hearts on every page. I can't say there's one elements I always use, but if I need "something" I tend to gravitate towards Valorie Wibbens sprinkles. They are just the right tiny bits to fill a space and I have so many of them that I have something in every color of the rainbow! I guess I probably can say that I always (99% of the time) have journaling on my page. Does that count?
A background paper. I don't use anything on every page - not even a title! I will go through phases - like my enamel dot phase, my paint phase, etc. But those usually only last a month or two. Unless it's a challenge or a title page, I put journaling on every page.
I seem to be drawn to paint on most of my pages or stitching I'd say but there is nothing thats on every page apart from Shadow Styles
Like @bestcee I'd have to say background paper! I do use a lot of flowers but I just looked at my last 43 pages that I need to upload and there are 6 pages without flowers. I also try to have a date on every page even if it is just a month and year if the exact date is unknown.
99 % of the time - some kind of stitching! A page just doesn't look complete without it. I'm drawn to anything plaid, too. Especially plaid paper and I don't always use it, but I use something plaid on a LOT of my pages.
Flowers, foliage, ribbony/string. If it's a page about hubby or my boys I will add more stars, if it's about me a butterfly or two, usually.
This is really a great question! I have never thought about it but now I wanna go to my gallery and look if there is any particular element that I actually use very often.
I'd say 90% of my pages have paint/stamp and/or a scatter of sorts! Oh, and every page uses the same journaling font. I used to be obsessed with fonts, but wasted so much time. So, I opted to just use one. It's worked well for me.
