December Style Challenge

    It is the last month of the year... December 2022!

    I know most of us are decking the halls, or at least getting ready for all the monthly festivities. With everything going on, I am so excited to be hosting the December STYLE challenge this month.

    With all the hustle and bustle of the season, we are going to go with a Clean and Simple Style this month.

    Let's get going!!!

    Not counting your photo, papers plus elements combined need to equal 12 for the 12th month of the year. That means you can have multiple photos if you wish, but your elements and papers combined cannot add up to more than 12 items. [Please let me know what you used for your 12 items when posting your page!]

    PP 11 (black)
    PP 12 (off white)
    PP 11 (black) again
    PP 03 (gray w/25 - used blending option - blend if gray mode)
    PP 16 (red) - for ribbon made with halftone pattern filter
    PP 16 (red) - for ribbon made with halftone pattern filter

    As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.

    The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

    2 challenges = 10% off
    4 challenges = 20% off
    6 challenges = 30% off

    If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).

    I used 7 papers from the Olivia collection, linked in gallery & a BG white gesso paper from LynneMarie. I also used 4 word arts from Olivia.

    Hi dear Christa!
    I hope my page works for this challenge, because my 5 pp are all blended together, so let me know if it's ok.
    I used:
    5 pp
    1 staple
    2 journal prompts
    2 paper bits
    1 messy thread
    1 splatter

    (the photo has a stroke, does that count as an element? Everything else was already in the papers)

    The stroke is fine Farwen, a is the 5 blended papers. The stroke is a style so that is why I don't count it :)

    I used a paper twice in order to fill the page and turned it upside down to make it look like one piece. I've counted it twice. I've got 2 different hearts = 4. 2 journal prompts = 6. Messy paint = 7. Messy threads = 8. Banner = 9. Messy stamp = 10. Flower = 11. 2nd paper used = 12. I put that 2nd paper into a shape.

    - 1 text layer (NEVER)
    - 2 pieces of tape
    - 1 tab
    - 1 staple
    - 1 stitch
