Hello Everyone! It's December! Goodness, I don't think I have EVER looked forward to a December like I have for 2020! Ugh! This year was something else. For me, 2020 was a bit of a mess, but I tried to stay in the "lines" so to speak! Tried to stay on my path no matter what life tossed my way, or what 2020 had in mind. Seems there was always something popping up to make life a bit messier! Do you guys agree? So, we are going to translate that to our scrapbook pages! I want you to scrap a clean but messy page, using some paint, but leaving two edges completely clean. Use lots of paint, splatters, elements, whatever you'd like, but try to incorporate a little mess, with some clean edges! Here is my page! A fall picture of the sunrise in Lavallette. I love this place, between the bay, the ocean, the smells, and sounds, it is calming and makes everything seem less daunting! All my elements, paint and extras are toward the middle, yet 2 of my edges are clean of any additions. I can't wait to see what you create! As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Here is mine, I used a photo of last year's amaryllis for the middle and then messed it up with lots of elements
I Too Found This Challenge Hard!...When You Are Used To Creating Messy With Paint! Etc...You Don't Think About Leaving Open Certain Parts Of The Page!...The Creativity Just Takes You Where It Takes You!...So I Did Have To Approach This Challenge A Bit Differently...I Was Stumped A Bit At Times...But I Did Persevere...& Managed To Finish The Layout!...It Didn't Turn Out Exactly How I Envisioned It!...But I Am Happy With The Finished Layout... *For My May Your Days Be Merry Layout-I Used: *Jingle All The Way-Little Butterfly Wings *Merry Memories-Designed By Soco
