Hi all! It's December. A super busy month of friends, family and functions! The constant holidays, shopping, holiday parties and then regular life routines can bog me down. I'm a bit introverted, and my head is usually spinning. I usually need some downtime - to refresh myself. A place that helps me recharge. For this month's Inspiration Challenge, we are going to be inspired by a location. I want you to share a layout about a location that brings a instant calm to your world. Someplace that grounds or can center you. Share that location and scrap about it. For me, my place is the bay, during sunset. It has a centering, mind calming feel and the sounds of the water really soothe my racing mind. I could sit and watch every sunset. Here is my layout: I scrap the bay quite often, and even though I'm not actually at the bay, scrapping about the bay is also calming for me. Here are a couple more layouts that I have used as a way to stop the spinning world. As always, please remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
An interesting challenge and lovely pages to inspire us as I also find the ocean or our local river being a place of calm.

With three daughters, a husband, three dogs and two cats we don't get a lot of "calm". But if I could I would spend all my time here. Just looking back at these photos brings me peace...
