Creating Quick Pages

Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, but can anyone direct me to a tutorial on how to create a quick page? I have a LO I want to turn into a QP, but the .asl file I have to make it super quick and easy won't install in CC. I could have sworn I once saw a tutorial around here...or did I imagine that? Thanks!

Merge all the layers under the photo.
Click the thumbnail of the photo in the layers palette to select the photo shape.
Delete the photo.
Delete the photo shape from the merged layers you created before.
Save as PNG.
