Hi friends, I am wanting to create my own save for the web action. I want it to include a width of 800 pixels at 72dpi and a slight sharpening for my layouts. Any suggestions on links to blogs or you tube videos that guide through this process? I have googled it and found several but none that have the image saved to 800 pixels wide. I am probably overthinking this whole process! I have been using PSCC’s legacy export - save for web. This works ok. You can set the width of the layout however my layouts look fuzzy to me! Here's a snip of my action for 700 - all you would do is insert 800 instead when you open the menu. I have a couple- one for 700, one for 900 & one for 600 pixels. One tip- if you use shortcut keys while making your action, make sure that you don't change them or your action wont run correctly! After you hit record, you would go to Image, then image size, type 72 ppi & click okay. File, Automate, then fit image, type 800 x800 (do not enlarge) then okay. and so on... I added a little sharpen as well as a little saturation to mine too. Clear as mud?

Kelly, I agree about CC's "export as" looking fuzzy, but I think that has to do with our monitors. It's like our computer screens are so good that sometimes SFW stuff looks fuzzy. Anyway, I made a resizing action; after I run it, I use the "export as" function and then I just adjust the percentage until the file size is under 250MB. My LOs seem to look better.
@amien1 "help" I am already stuck on step two!!! How do you do the fit image part? I tried to change the canvas and that was definitely wrong. Thanks in advance!
How do I add the image size part - Width:800, With Scale Styles, With Constrain Proportions, Interpolation:bicubic ???
NOt sure... mine doesn't have that- it may be due to a newer update of cc. Does your action work as is?
