So a few of you asked about scrapping with a tablet... so I'll clarify that. I guess tablet can me several things... it's not an ipad type of tablet. I use either an art tablet, where you can use the pen right on the screen, but it's designed for digital art, or I use a wacom tablet and pen in place of a mouse. But either way, it runs through my laptop as a USB connected device. And then I use Photoshop Elements, as I've never felt the need to upgrade to the big dog.

The benefit to me is that it's much more precise in making corrections or reshaping. I just feel like I have so much more control and it's so much more responsive than using a mouse. After using tablets, a mouse feels super clumsy.

The art tablet I have is a Gaomon, and it works great as long as you have the right driver installed!
The "mouse" tablet I have is a wacom intuit. Super simple, no real bells and whistles. And I use either/or, not both at the same time.

I can't imagine! I don't know if I'm ready to tackle a page about my sister yet. I think for now I will stick to celebrating the daily ins and outs of life. But I'm sure the day will come... I'm so encouraged by your story, though. I feel like I've been away so long that I don't know if it makes sense to try to start again. But I am going to give it a try!

Welcome back! I'm so sorry about your loss.. big hugs. May I know which year were you active? Probably we've crossed paths before. Because I've gone into the abyss too and just came out 2-3 years ago. Slowly revving up my engine lol.

For now: just focus on finding the joy in scrapping again. Everything else will happen when it's time.

I 100% remember you! I honestly don't remember when I stopped scrapping.. I would say it was around 2018 when things got really tough, so I probably phased out after that.

I swear to all things good... just last night I was thinking, "I need to look up a Watch Cheryl Scrap for some inspiration!" I will check out the details, but I SHOULD be able to be there! Typically on a Friday night, my people all scatter to the winds and do their own thing. LOL

Ooooooooh! What a beautiful baby! Name? How old? I just LOVE Weims.
We still have our blue weim, although we had to put Dublin down in 2019, which just about crushed me. We also now have a GSP baby (well, she's 2 years old now, but she looks like she's been hit with a shrink ray!). But weims will always have a special place in my heart! <3

I remember your grief over Dublin - so tragic as he was way too young!

Ollie is two. We've had him since early August, so still pretty fresh, and he's adjusting, but doing well. His original family moved out of the country and could not take him. I forgot what it was like to have a younger dog. We like to say that he's two, and really good at it :) But he's a total love bug.
