I've had the same thoughts about pretending we're moving and going through the house and ruthlessly getting rid of all the crap we've held on to over the years. I just need to actually follow through with my threats. I like your idea of making it a summer project. Breaking it down into smaller chunks is definitely the way to go.
My son's last day of preschool is today! They are having a graduation ceremony *eyeroll* tonight after dinner. With the snow days we had this year, my daughter has an entire extra week of school so she has 11 days (including today) left. I'm waiting to hear back about something that will then launch a countdown if it happens the way I want it to so I guess that counts??
Hugs and best wishes Kayla for your daughter on her journey. Hugs to you too as I know 18 months seems like a long time, but glad you can keep in touch with her
Thanks, Christa. The movers are set up to come on Tuesday, the day after Memorial Day. We're packing and going to start taking a carload of the other "stuff" every time we go to the new house. Lots of work ahead.
I remember the days of preschool graduations. The kids are so proud and think they're so big... adorable!
Thanks Christa! I think it's finally starting to hit me just how long 18 months really is. I keep telling myself that I made it through 2 years when my son was gone so 18 months will be easy... ha!! Not really... but that's what I keep telling myself! Better to laugh than cry, right.
