Collections & Smart Collections

Okay who uses collections and smart collections in Bridge? What one's do you have setup? Do you just use the collections or do you tag as well? I can see how this system would benefit my scrapping but I'm having hard time figuring out exactly how I want to carry it out. All the options are making me

I tag everything and use smart collections for certain things like templates or other go to items that I constantly add to.
