    Hi Everyone!

    I love this time of the year: falling leaves, cooler air and beautiful colours everywhere. I also love all of the Halloween kits appearing in the store. But I never really have any Halloween photos to scrap. My kids are all grown and Halloween just isn't that big of a deal around here.

    That doesn't stop me using the Halloween kits though! I just pull out all of the beautiful papers and any elements that don't scream (pardon the pun):giggle Halloween!
    Converting a photo to B&W allows me to use all the fab Halloween colours without worrying about colour harmony too.

    I've put a couple of examples below, plus the kits I used to give you an idea of what I mean...

    So I challenge you to create a NON HALLOWEEN themed layout using a HALLOWEEN THEMED KIT using products from any of our talented designers here at The Pad.

    Please post your layouts in this thread as well as the main Gallery. I really can't wait to see all of your layouts :)

    ***Challenge will close at 11.59 EDT on Sunday October 25th - a random winner will then be chosen to receive a $3 voucher to spend in the Lily pad store***

    Please remember that your layout must contain at least 75% Lily pad product

    I can see them now - CUTE.. And guess what.. this is an easy one for me, because my Wedding Anniversary is 31st October, so lots of non-halloween related content in my photo library!

    I don’t even think I own any Halloween kits to start with....I tend not to buy many themed kits for Halloween, fall or winter

    @KarenB - it’s more that Halloween isn’t a big thing here in NZ and where I live doesn’t exactly get typical fall or winter....ie no snow ever so the kits wouldn’t get a lot of use.

    If I'm not mistaken (and I well could be), there is a Storyteller AO that's either flat-out Halloween or close enough to count for this challenge, and you're a subscriber so perhaps you have it in your stash? I'm on my phone and I have a tough time searching the store on it, but I bet if you look at the October AOs from any year, you'd find it. OH! And she also does Halloween in the months main kit, which I know you have. So you should be good to go. Nothing to stop you from enjoying the fun! :)

    I didn't have any either, as we don't celebrate halloween. I've just picked up some of Lynn's stuff to try out as I'm on her CT and I've discovered them surprisingly versatile.

    I love stretching my kits and often uses kits for other occasions than what it was made for. The designers of The Lilypad are great making versatile kits and collections!
