Congrats @Mama Shades you're our random winner! :winner
    Thanks everyone for playing along!
    Happy Halloween!
    ****************************************************************
The scientist, Victor Frankenstein, combined body parts from different corpses and zapped it in the hope to create new life to better mankind, but unfortunately he created a monster... oops!

For today's challenge we're going to try the "Frankenstein" approach to bring new life to our word art and/or journal cards by adding or removing parts of them to make our own creations. In the end, hopefully our creations will resemble masterpieces rather than monsters. :giggle

    Requirements:
    • Scrap a layout (any theme) where you "Frankenstein" a word art or journal card
    • Tell me what you "Frankenstein-ed" either in this thread or in your gallery layout credits. Please tell me what it was before and what you changed it to.
    • Post your layout in The Lilypad gallery and link to it in this thread.
I modified these word art pieces to get my Frankenstein-ed pieces.

For help with the "Frankenstein" approach check out these blog posts:

    Trick - simple modify
In addition to these tutorials, I like to use the marquee tool and the polygonal lasso tool to select sections. Then I play with blend modes and use the spot healing tool to blend and mix the pieces together.

    Reminders:
This challenge will close at 11:59 pm EDT on Sunday, October 25th.
Regular Gallery rules apply: layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products.
One random winner will be selected to win a $3 GC to The Lilypad store.

I can't wait to see your "Frankenstein" creations! :agree

What a fun way to make a page that much more tailored for your own topic! Fun idea!

I very crudely altered the word strip.

The original said "just one more chapter . . . "

I frank-in-stiened two different word arts to create eat leaves

    one said..."leggings.. leaves and...."
and the other said . "Im so glad I live in a world were there are octobers"
from the Oct 2020 Story teller by Jaimee... :)
