****Winner is MARY KATE**** Thanks everyone for playing along! Welcome to DOCUMENT YOUR DECEMBER here at The Lilypad! There are games, challenges and shopping deals AND there are some tutorials to help spark your creativity and get you in the holiday spirit! Are you ready for a fun CHALLENGE??? If you have read the tutorial about DIY FRAMES...then you know what I'm going to ask you to do If you haven't read it yet...head on over there and read about how to create your own frames and decorate them. The challenge is to... CREATE YOUR OWN FRAME and decorate it, using some TLP Christmas products (there are a lot to pick from, so have fun!). THEN CREATE A LAYOUT USING YOUR FRAME. Here is a layout with a circular frame. I created the frame with the circular marquee tool, then clipped an embossed paper from Holly Jolly by NBK Design. I added a bevel and emboss style, then a bit of a drop shadow. I added some elements and greenery overtop of the frame to finish it off. THE RULES: To be eligible in the prize draw of a random winner for a $3 gift certificate, you must post your layout in the gallery, following gallery rules, and then post your linked image here in this thread prior to the challenge close date of Monday, November 15th at 11:59pm EST.
Fun challenge! I created this frame with the custom shape tool in PS and then added a wooden style from Mommyish.
I made a frame using a frame from RJefferies Quercus, paper from NBK 2021 DYD paper pack and pearls from PRD Oh What Fun.
Made my own frame from wood paper and "burned" the Ho Ho Ho into it. Also made the mat to finish it off.
I've been thinking about this all weekend! I love the other pages and all the different frames. I used a star shape to make a star frame and stapled Kim's Christmas sequins to it:
Fun challenge, thank you so much for hosting and the tutorial. Here's my take. I made the frame using the marquee tool and clipping a paper from Christmas Baking by Kristin Aagard, full credits in gallery. Wishing you a very beautiful evening.
I used just a plain rectangle shape to make a frame; then added a plaid paper; then added a thin mat underneath; then applied a chipboard style by Mommyish to the photo frame. Super-fun challenge!
