I think I can be there - we'll have family in town tomorrow, and I don't know quite what we'll be doing, but I should be okay tomorrow night. Hope so.
Oh, I'm going to miss it! I have guests coming over for dinner. Maybe I can sneak in a peek on my phone...
This has been a crazy day, but I'm really looking forward to chatting! I'm heading to the chatroom in just a minute!
Sorry I missed the chat, Karen. @Karen I just found out that I have to get up at the crack of down to take my daughter for a medical procedure AT 7:30 in the morning and of course, she has to be there so much earlier than that. I had to get ready to roll out of bed at 4:30 in the morning and I'm a super zombie anytime I get up, so I had to take a shower, wash my hair and have everything laid out tonight so I don't have to think in the morning. I yi yi - this is torture - why do they have to do these things at the crack of dawn? We also have to drive to a clinic that's out of town.
I wish I could have chatted with you. And I thought of you when the reminder popped up on my phone. But I was at the dress rehearsal of La Cage Aux Folles at the theater where I started working in the box office last weekend. Great perk of the job!
Glad you could make it! Oh yuck! I don't know why those things always have to be so early in the morning. I kinda think they do that so the nurses that have to work nights will have something to do? Or to torture the patients and their drivers. Lol. I hope the few hours you get to sleep are good ones! That is an awesome job perk! I don't know that play though... was it good?
I’ve always said it’s the torturing part Karen! I’m sitting in the waiting room for what will be awhile. Brought my laptop with me so I can hopefully work on today’s MOC Challenge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The play was wonderful! The story was made into a movie at some point too, I'm told, called The Birdcage. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the play follows it pretty closely.
