I hope you all are having the best time with all the DYD festivities this year. This is my absolute favorite project and this will be my 14th year creating a DYD album! My hope is that someday I can go back and scrap some albums from those Christmases before I started DYD. I have so much of my older kids' lives that still need to be scrapped.

And that's where this challenge comes in! All you have to do is create a page from Christmas past. Take it as a chance to get caught up on a previous year's album or just to get those past December memories scrapped! You are welcome to create more than one, but please create a new post for each one and be sure to include the date somewhere on the page(s).

Here is my page using DYD goodies from Rachel Jefferies and Pixel Giraffe Design

Challenge Rules:
1. Create a page or pages that are from any December prior to 2025 and be sure to include the date somewhere on your page.
2. Post your layout in the TLP gallery and also in this thread with a link to the gallery image of your page. When posting your page here in this thread, please use the "Copy GALLERY BB Code:" option in the gallery, and paste that link here so that we can go back to your page in the gallery easily.

One random winner will be chosen to win a $5 gift certificate.
Challenge closes Monday November 17th at 11:59 pm EST.

Catching up with some December pages from when the children were little. Here are two I've just finished:
and

I've got a slowly unfolding project of searching my files to delete duds and duplicates amongst my photos.

Lots of forgotten gems pop up as I do it, and as I move into the final months this includes the years when DD was Christmas-obsessed :-)

I still am working on 2023- but have my CC library still active- so I should be able to get this one done this year at least! lol

(Most of the product used is Anita's, just a few BG flowers and BB house # & cheryl's templates- hope it's okay for the gallery.)

This was a great event to spur me to "catch up" indeed. I've been putting off this one just because of choosing which photos to use to document the event. I will say that I spent some hours yesterday evening trying to "fit" this into a pocket page and was just not happy with it -- voila new idea executed this morning without much effort.

I'm pretty caught up on my 2024 yearbook, just waddling through the end of December. But also am working on early 2025 and Japan 2024. I work chronilogically but more ahead a bit for challenges and CT stuff. Then I fill in gaps with layouts not made. I do have a method to my madness!!

So this was a great challenge to get a bit more done of December! Hoping Blurb has a good sale for Black Friday in a few days. I want to order 2023 and 2024 which will be 5 books total.

This challenge is now closed. Thanks for sharing your catch up pages!
