I took my laptop away and stopped the backblaze backup as soon as i turned on my laptop so it wouldn't eat up my free wifi data limit, now I go and turn it on again and its nowhere to be found on my laptop, its not in the recycle bin or anything. I have no idea whats happened and to be honest just hope I don't need to start the entire back up over again
Oh no! Have you contacted them to ask where to look (in case some update deleted your shortcut or something)? Also, if you have to restart the back up, there should be a way to inherit the backup you already have. it'll take time, but it shouldn't take as long as your initial backup. I can't remember the steps but I do know it's offered so perhaps their customer service and Tech help can give you the instructions if needed.
I ended up just redownloading the backblaze program and all was good again. Still strange that it disappeared though and couldn’t be found when I searched.
Oh good, glad you were able to re-download without a problem! I had to inherit an old backup once, and it was scary!
