Hi everyone, and welcome to the August Journaling Challenge. We all have those moments in life that stand out, that are something special, or that made a huge impact. This month's journaling challenge is all about those kind of moments. I want you to journal about a moment that really made a huge impact on you or on someone you know. Because this is a journaling challenge, I want to see at least 5 sentences of journaling on your page. Here is my page documenting my son's moment, when his provincial team won second in our national Under-18 Football Canada Cup. It was exciting, special, and monumental. It was epic! As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the August Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I'm really looking forward to seeing your pages!
I can't remember if this was my original idea, but I was looking thru some old pics and by far this was life changing experience for all of us, but especially the girls. Now they are older, every one of them are champs at setting long term goals and working hard towards achieving them.
Here is mine. Thanks for the opportunity to record this. Now that I look at it, I realize it looks like I am our Mayer Jeff. But there is a marker I used for an arrow, pointing to him. Aw darn. I will fix it. lol
I've missed doing the challenges! Real life emergency got in the way of the first half (or so) of the year, but I'm thrilled to be catching up! Love the journal challenge - thanks!
