wow that is fantastic .. I did not realize this was for the inspiration challenge too... you hit the ball out of the park on this one Anne.. it is spot on, and I love your rendition better, as your little one is just so cute!!! Perfect!
I chose this book, though I haven't read it. It reminded me of this picture my friend sent me of her daughter and her bff this summer, so I chose that picture. I lifted the waves in the background and the two faces plus the retro / graphic feel of the cover and font.
My inspiration is not exactly a book cover, but the artwork from the box set of “The Longmire Mystery Series” by Craig Johnson. I love the picture and the clean strong font.
