* Ask a Designer *

I would like to address this to any designer: What do you do to keep your creativity up to come up with different kits so often?
As some of the other girls mentioned, working with set projects like BYOC, Hear My Voice. Collaborating and bouncing ideas off someone else. Working in my own Junk Journals and Collage Books. Photographing and Scanning my Art and playing around with it.
Not being afraid to change a colour pallet a million times lol << bad for that
Browsing Art, Scrapbook and Vintage Imagery
Taking breaks when there is a creative block and *trying* to keep my workspace tidy, both on and off the computer!
I take photos of random stuff when I'm out too, people may wonder why I'm photographing a pile of wet leaves (there is a colour scheme in there!) or why I am taking a photo of the cracks in the pavement or a bit of something I saw on a wall :bird
Spending time off the computer helps and I think Lynn mentioned whilst doing something else thoughts will pop up in head whilst I'm relaxing. You'll see me walking through the park on the school run dictating a voice memo into my phone as I've often had an ephiphany whilst out walking!
A lot of the time it's pot luck and my muse always goes to places unknown :giggle
Definitely inspiration for me comes a lot from my own life experiences what’s happening around me and my current mood
