Words said to me thru ok be exhausted 5 year old this evening as we tucked him in to bed....
Then to give his 13 year old sisters a big 'll nuggie for filling his young skull full of mush with such thoughts.
Thank you for this opportunity to rant. I now return you to a world without boogers, tears and teenage drama...please just tell me there is such a place.:giggle

My big brothers told me about the crocodile that lived under my bed with the evil clown (thanks for that) and also that my new little brother was actually a girl, to their great delight when I insisted on calling him Elizabeth to all those who came to visit (his name is Rob and he is so not a girl!!)

Gotta love siblings! have fun fending off those vampire squids. x

I dread those days!! But saying that my eldest two are 4 & 3 so pretty close in age so its the baby that is going to struggle bless him!

Oh my gosh! That's too funny that there really ARE vampire squid. Now your 5 YO can show off to the teenagers Anne! :)

my DH was just reading a book to the kids yesterday about the ocean and my DD couldn't contain herself till they got to the vampire squid section (she was reading ahead, lol).

oh my goodness...lol, I am rolling laughing at this...and will have to get a book and show this to all three of them!

Haha...in our house it's the opposite. The little says things to scare the big..she has him convinced there is a crocodile living in in the drainage pipe under our driveway.

so this morning, I call them all over to my puter to explain there is a vampire squid and show the links that Jen so lovingly had....I show them, and my 5 year old puts his hands on his hips and says, "See sister, I told you they were real!"
The whole story is revealed.
His tears? He wasn't scared, he was just not being understood.
The hazards of being the baby.
He was all upset because....
no one believed him, but they had talked about them in school, and the sisters laughed at him.
They were open mouthed and then laughing at the fact that a vampire squid exists.

Right now, I'd like life to be just about boogers & teen stuff rather then the crap I'm dealing with. I really hate drama unless it's on TV & can be solved in an hour!

Oh my! I might have scary nightmares today thanks to this!

lol of course there are vampire squid ... you need to watch my national geographic shows girls :D
