Hi there, Stefanie (Eyeore) here with a challenge to scrapbook a layout with a split background.
I would like to see two distinct different papers in your foundational layers that create a split design.

My first layout has two different patterned papers from the same colour palette splitting the design into equal halves.

My second example has two main plain papers and the design is split into 1/3 and 2/3s.

If you have any questions or comments - please tag me @Eyeore

A reminder of our monthly challenge rules:

Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the April 2022 Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and also posted in this thread. If you aren't sure how to link your page from the gallery, check out this thread: Gallery Sizes and Crediting. Despite the title, it shows how to link your page too!

The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

    2 challenges = 10% off
    4 challenges = 20% off
    6 challenges = 30% off

If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).

Approximately 1/3 and 2/3 split. Lots of fun with this one. Thanks for the challenge Stefanie.

thanks for the challenge, i like this way of using more papers especially when i can't choose between a few, it's a good way to use both! i used a template by FDD and just moved the right hand paper strip over a bit to make it a 1/3, 2/3 split backgrd.

Oh, what an interesting idea... here's my take - I split my page diagonally - I hope it counts and it is not specified HOW the page should be split or in what proportion.. @Eyeore

Loved this. I used Designed by Soco Relx for this one.

Quick question, @Eyeore - I think it's the same as Olga's question. Can the split be on a diagonal, as long as the split is an easy-to-see part of the design?

Here is mine, I used two papers from Treasured Places - linked in gallery, I did a gradient mask to make the bottom layer show thru, I like how it looks like raindrops, which inspired me to use the Forcast M3 collection, linked in gallery:

Yes it can be on the diagonal.
I just need to see a split of two different background papers please.
