Fun gallery to lift from. I chose this layout: I loved the large photo and the clustering on the paper strips. Here is my version: Thank you for hosting such a fun challenge!
OOh I love this page by @londoncuppa. I always shy away from Y.I.R pages but you have me all inspired with this awesome page of yours Margaret Here is my take
beautiful pages, mine was harder than it looks at first sight...mine doesn't do justice, but anyway, here it is: Athena & The Crew (londoncuppa) and mine:
What a gorgeous gallery! After narrowing it down, I finally decided! Can't wait to get working on it!
Not sure how to scraplift myself, Christa...lol. So, I just picked my most recent layout. Hope that's okay. If it isn't, just let me know. I'm loving all of the talent my fellow Pad peeps are showing with this challenge, and I'm so very honored by them all!!!
Thank You For Another Wonderful Scraplift Challenge!...Londoncuppa Has A Wonderful Gallery To Choose From & I Wasn't Sure Which To Choose But I Spotted The Perfect Page To Lift: This Page Was From The MOC6 Daily Challenges & This One In Particular Caught My Eye For Many Reasons...Firstly That Adorable Corgi...My Sister has A Corgi Too!...So Cute!...But The Main Reason Is The Mosaic Technique That Is Used Here...I Have To Admit That I Am Just A Little Bit Obsessed With This Technique...I Have Already Done 2 Layouts Using This Technique & This Page Gave Me The Opportunity To Do Another!...Yeah!... *Firstly My Layout Was Fashioned In The Same Colors...Blues/Golds/Browns/Black But My Layout Looks Completely Different...Aside From The Same Color Usage & The Use Of The Mosaic Technique I Went In A Completely Different Direction...* *As Some Of You May Know By Now Using Multiple Photos In One Layout Is My Favorite Thing To Do & Taking Each Photo & Applying Different Techniques To Each One & Also Applying Completely Different Effects,Brushes,Overlays Etc To Make Each Picture Look Completely Different But Blend Properly Into The Layout's Color Scheme & Theme...* *We Are So Weary Of Snow Here & Most Of Our Thoughts Are Thinking Ahead To Warmer & Milder Spring/Summer Weather...So Hence The Beginning Of My Theme...The Idea Of Summer Fun & Just Jumping Off The Dock/Platform & Splashing Into That Warm Summer Water Seems & Sounds So Inviting...It Also Brings To Mind The Idea Of Taking A Leap Of Faith & Venturing Into A New & Upcoming Season With An Open Mind & Hopes For Many Wonderful Adventures Ahead...* *For My Mosaic I Decided To Do Something Different & Only Mosaic Part Of The Photo Leaving The Top Portion Visually Open For A Neat Look & Effect To Emphasize The Man Who Is Jumping Into The Water So You Can See Him Clearly Jumping Off...The Result Was So Much More Appealing Than I Thought It Would Be & So Off I Went To Add More Effects To Each Photo...I Copied The Original Photo 15 Times & Took Each Photo & Applied Different Effects & Even Different Techniques Layered Together To Form The Individual Results Per Photo...I Also Took One Photo & Turned It Into The Paper Background You See Blended With 2 Shades Of White/Grey Paper...One Being Crinkled...The Result Was A Background That Had More Pop Than Without It & Then I Shadowed & Added Once Again More Effects...To Finish Off The Layout As It Looked Kind Of Bare In Spots To Me...I Applied A Puzzle Brush To Each Photo That I Recolored & Some Confetti That I Also Recolored To Match My Color Scheme & A Hollow Frame Design Of A Star/A Heart/A Star & An Arrow To Each Of The Center Sections To Provide Cohesion To Each Photo & Lastly I Put In A Starburst Element In Behind The Middle Section Photo To Make It Pop A Bit More & Finally It Looked Cohesive To Me & Finished The Layout Off Properly...* *For My #LDF(Leap/Dream/Fly) Layout-I Used* *Puppy Love-Pink Reptile Designs *Then & Now-Pink Reptile Designs *For Peep's Sake-Kristin Aagard
