Happy April everyone! I found a quote that I really enjoyed and wanted to make a page off of. "Being happy never goes out of style" - Lilly Pulitzer You can be inspired by it any way you find. I took most of it for my title but changed it up just a touch. Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
This was fun! I actually had a flair that said "be happy" on this page, but I liked the kitty cat better. This pic makes me happy, so I knew I had to scrap it as soon as I read the quote.
As soon as I saw your quote, I knew the photo I wanted to scrap. It is a selphie from a Facetime between my grand-daughter and her Daddy.
Here's mine I had a lot of "inspiration" from the page, but only ended up with one of them on mine after it was all said and done...evolution and all that. It was the large title.
here is mine: (this was really fun, and I was able to use this photo of my brother when he found my niece and nephew (kids of my other sister) on a remote beach somewhere in the country)
Love it! We do that too- Screenshot face times, especially between MY parents and MY grands-their great grands!
I used the quote as my main inspiration.... "Being happy never goes out of style" - Lilly Pulitzer These silly family members are from the early 20s, but I can see something modern in their playfulness. I know we often see vintage photos with serious faces or small smiles, and we forget these were people who loved to have silly fun, just like us! So "being happy" and silly has never gone out of style, as the quote says!! I used a paper with happy themes as well.
I liked Heather's layout SO much I totally lifted it and kept the original quote! Photo of my grandson by his daddy. https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/inspirational-challenge-april-2017.297570/
