I'm your host for April and I decided that it would be fun to do a lift month. Each week I will pick a layout for us to lift. For week one I picked one of Cindy's layouts @cinderella (I had to) say no This page by Cindy really spoke to me, I have a major problem saying No to people, so I thought it would be a great layout to lift. On your page you can add journaling to your title I had to say NO but it isn’t necessary. I think this title can go both ways, are you a person that cannot say NO to people or are you able to easily say NO to something that is asked of you? And my layout. Challenge Requirements: 1. For the Monthly Muse, you may create any style of layout (ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc.), with or without a photo. Create any size page you wish. The Art Muse is for everyone; have FUN! 2. You can use any products in The Lily Pad store or retired products from current Lily Pad designers, (just make sure you follow our gallery guidelines). 3. Please post your layout to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE by Midnight, 30 April 2022; and post your layout in this thread by copying the "Share BB Code" to the right of your gallery image. Each post, regardless of the week posted in the month of March earns you one chance to win a $5 coupon to the TLP store. Thus, 1 Muse = 1 chance to win 2 Muses = 2 chances to win 3 Muses = 3 chances to win 4 Muses = 4 chances to win
I am playing with a new 4 week format..... I reserve the right to change the background ! That said I think this will be fun.
@Pachimac Susie, I can totally relate to this experience. I got tired of the "looks" that were not discernable and the questions they brought on. Then decided to ignore it and just be me like I had before. It worked!
Mine. Drawing is mine as well, I did several back in 2016 for an AJ challenge here. You had to draw a face without lifting your pencil from the page. Lots of journaling, but it is blended into the face.
No is my OLW for the year. It is not about saying no to people; it is about saying no to self-indulgences and hubris.
