Oh this is a great idea and one I can get behind.

 

I'm in! I love the idea of focusing on a word each month. Previously I tried OWL but kept getting bored and never made it past 6 months (even less most years). So, your take is brilliant in my mind. I think I'll combine it with my P52. Hmmmm, 4 words for January. Maybe something like this?
Week 1: Self Portrait (because we need at least one per year and what better way to see where we started on this journey)
Week 2: Beginning
Week 3: Rising
Week 4: New

 

It’s so much fun!! You take one picture per week on anything that speaks to you about the prompt. The goal is by the end of the year, you have taken 52 photos. They can be a literal interpretation or a more abstract one - or a mix of both. It’s a blast without the pressure of a Project 365. My photography skills improve, but honestly it’s just plain fun being creative . I usually follow someone else’s prompts, but this year I think I’ll base them off the MPM collections. I’d love to get a group going and share our photos!

 

Love this idea! I have also tried OLW a few times and didn’t make it through more than four or five month each time. I’d love to join in!

Such an excellent idea! I've been hesitating to do one word this year because I think so many things could change in 12 months, so this would be a great alternative. I don't know if I could commit to the whole 12 months but I'd love to try!

 

I hadn’t heard of Pro 52 being 1 pic a week. I’ve been doing it for 7 years now and it’s been that I scrap each WEEK, yielding a book of 52 - 104 pages depending on how many pictures I take a week.

I like your idea of it!!! Much easier!
