Yes, it's crazy! I totally forgot that today was the first day of May. Apparently my hubby and I were supposed to lead worship service this morning at church... I didn't realize it until yesterday. Ended up having to call in a sub because my hubby worked 8 hours last night and went to bed at 7am!

And we have all of our 'end of school year' things happening this week....piano recital, testing, co-op program, a 5k the kids have been training for. Not to mention all the iNSD fun!

@Scrapping with Liz OOPS! I'm sure they understood though, right? And OMG you have so much going on. I don't envy that!
 
I usually feel February is horribly long because it is truly the dead of winter here. This year it seemed April would never end and didn't really look like spring at all. I'm glad it's finally May and hopefully we will have some warm weather. Today we are still getting those April showers....
 
I can't believe how fast this spring is going! My daughter has her 8th grade class trip to DC this week. Her last day of school is May 31st, with graduation on June 2nd. My son's schedule is more up in the air. There is a potential teacher's strike on the 16th. We had originally thought that a strike would extend the school year (hard cut off date of July 1st), but CPS just announced last week that if the teachers strike, they'll just end the school year then. So Alex may either be on summer break May 16th if there is a strike or June 22nd if there isn't one.
