Anyone besides me have trouble with the santa thing?

    We did the santa thing here...it was a part of my childhood, a part of my husband's childhood and we decided we wanted it to be a part of our daughter's.

    Last year I shared this letter with her (rewritten a tiny bit though)...and it was just what she needed. One of the boys at her homeschool group yesterday asked her if she believed in Santa and she emphatically answered yes.

    I'm not sure if there will be a Santa present under the tree this year or not, but like a lot of you in here the big gifts never came from Santa....We've been through a lot of ups and downs financially and I went in with the thought that it's easier to explain that Mommy and Daddy don't have the money to buy the big fancy gift than to have her expect Santa to bring it. Her Dear Santa letters have always been for books, stuffed animals, and games.
