Did anyone watch last night's World Series opener?

Oh boy, it was an EPIC game 1! 14 innings and over 5 hours. Kansas City wins 5-4; ahead in the series 1-0; Laura's expected productivity today: 0. The game wasn't over until after midnight and then I couldn't sleep because I was so keyed up. LOL

I'll be cheering for my Royals again tonight. Send coffee. :)

I am a HUGE baseball fan but am still licking my wounds as your Royals took out my Jays :)

I am not - but I do love to go to actual games! We are the minor league team of the Reds here, so we have season tickets for the Wahoos. It is so much more fun to watch at the game for me.

I'm rooting for the Royals to take out the Mets because the Mets took out my Cubs..lol.

We watched most of the game last night. I gave up and sent Liz to bed at the end of the 13th...guess we should have stuck it out for another inning.

I'm not so much of a baseball fan as I am a Cubs fan. We live and breath the Cubs here in our neighborhood as we're within walking distance to Wrigley. I love the Cubs, but I don't love baseball enough to watch it when the Cubs aren't playing.

Oh... and I'm with Danyale... I love going to games! We have a quarter share of a set of season tickets, so we go quite often. I'm a little behind on PL so you'll be seeing a few Cubs centric spreads soon from when they were still in the hunt. Can't wait until next year!

I watched on an off while DH was watching. I fell asleep before the end. I'm in the minority - rooting for the Mets.

When I was growing up, I was a Met fan, and my mom is a huge Met fan. This was back around their last win for the World Series - 1986. Since then, I married a Yankee fan... and my Dad is (per my Mother and I) a closet Yankee fan! :)

My history with the Mets, and plus that they are a local team for me leads me to root for them!

I love a baseball game live, but on TV is a bit boring sometimes!

I caught the last inning and a half. Exciting. Since the Mariners aren't in the series, I'm not very invested in it.

I don't watch a whole lot on TV, but LOVE to go to live games. My poor Phillies are going through a rough patch.... for this series I'm rooting for the Royals. We have a minor league team in our town and we go to quite a few games during the summer, nothing beats a summer night at the baseball field!
