I often download one of the Kindle books free each month on Amazon Prime but know nothing about September's six. I can eliminate the Children's on and probably the YA one but otherwise, I know nothing about any of them. Have you read any of these?

I just got the Historical Fiction - that's one of my favorite genres. "The Ragged Edge of Night". Not sure what else.

I am with you! I usually can eliminate a couple right off the bat, but I haven't even read these particular authors before.

I don't Amazon prime anymore but yes, iirc, these are offered to prime members now and will be released to the general public on October 1.

I always just go to Goodreads and check the reviews and synopsis there before I decide. I haven't done that yet for this month...

If I'm not sure I tend to wait until the last week. Then I'll go back and read the reviews since there are many more of them closer to the end of the month and sometimes that helps me decide.

I usually wait until later in a month but sometimes the month gets away from me and I forget to download

Ok... I finally read the reviews today and picked The Ragged Edge of Night. I really debated about The Rule of One and What Have You Done too... Any of them sounded interesting and could be good.

I picked We Were Mothers. Each chapter, the POV changes between main characters. I'm not too far into it, but I'm not hating it. :) My second choice was What Have You Done, but I just finished a psychological thriller so I wanted a different genre.

I must have deleted my email for mine. Is there a way to see and choose online or on my Kindle, I can't figure it out?

@southernmother They recently changed the name I believe and it goes by First Reads - I usually just do a google search for Amazon September First Reads and it gets me there. Sometimes searching within amazon yields some weird results.

Here's my link - not sure if it will get you there?
