With Affinity Designer being a vector based program, it's very quick and simple to use basic shapes to create a cut-out to use in today's MOC challenge (Day 30).

    1. Create a shape the size of your page (e.g. a 12 x 12 square)
    2. Create another shape on top. I colour them differently to make seeing them easier.

    3. Here I have used the Polygon tool and set the number of sides to 10.

    4. Select Both Shapes
    5. Click the subtract tool on the context tool bar

    6. Now your template is ready to use.
