Who did the new years countdown, then headed here to see if MOC was up?

I can't be the only one.

I checked at like 1am but I knew it wasn’t up yet, as I’m in the Netherlands (GMT+1). But it’s always good to wake up on January first and get to scrapping while having breakfast! So off I go!

New Year's day is nearly over for me here Down Under in Australia.
We had friends come to stay last night so we watched the lovely fireworks at Sydney Harbour bridge that are shown every year on TV at midnight. We filled in the night leading up to midnight with playing board games.

I'm part of the Aussie contingent, so we are almost done with New Year's Day.
Melody was very keen to stay up for our midnight fireworks, but crashed around 11:30 pm and would not wake up! So we set an alarm for New York's midnight and watched the ball drop, watched some fireworks from other countries and then I came to check for MOC!

I did the countdown with DS, took a couple of photos, and then headed straight back here :)

I was woken up by the fireworks - then did the midnight blood tests. I didn't pop online, as I'm several hours ahead of EST. I did pop online as soon as we got up this morning though.

I did the countdown on my couch with The Pad open on my phone. Yay for cellular technology!

Because we flew home on the 30th - with a 7 hour time difference from the USA, i was asleep way before 12. Checked to see if the challenge was up when I woke up though, and delighted to see that it was. Day 1 done and dusted.

Not ashamed to admit it. In fact I wrote about planning to do this in the MOC Is Coming thread.
I recorded video of my kids and their friends cheering in the new year, then pulled up TLP on my phone to look for the challenge. I was impressed it was there!
I’m in Virginia, Eastern Standard Time.
I had to wait another hour before my computer was available for scrapping though.
    Happy 2019!

I have to admit that I went to sleep after counting down to midnight CST. I knew I would be checking in this morning, though. I did lay awake about 30 minutes before I finally went to sleep. MOC7 on the brain.

I watched the ball drop with 2 of my kids, tucked them into bed, and then it was time to check everything kicking off on 1/1 on my scrapping sites! I didn't get to start scrapping last night, so it's finally time to do the Blind Scrap now.

I didn't make it until midnight last night but TLP was the first place I checked this morning.
