Hi. Is there a way to open a file directly from ACDSee?

    Hey Deborrah!

You should be able to view your kit in ACDSee and then drag the paper or element from the ACDSee screen directly onto your canvas in PSCC or PSE.

What program are you using to scrap?

Not sure if I can help or not. It depends what you want to do with the file you open. I usually drag and drop my files from the image basket into PS or PSE.

PSCC. I'll have to give it a try - I'm used to Bridge where you just double click and it opens it. Never thought to drag and drop - teehee.

@janedee - I'll give this a try and let you know if it works.

    THANKS A LOT!

Yes, you can. I hate using drag and drop. Instead I use a keyboard shortcut to open any file (or more than one at the same time) in your preferred external editor.
Go to -> Extras -> External Editors.

I prefer the drag and drop so that I can control where they land.
