AAM is a way to look inside yourself and capture what makes you YOU. We scrap so much about our families, pets, friends that we forget about us. AAM pages can be scrap therapy, or a way to capture who you are for your kids and family in the future. Remember you can be as clear or as vague as you want. YOU know the meaning and emotion you're putting into the page so you can hide your journaling, journal just a bit, not at all or write it all out! This week your prompt is to scrap: One quality you love about yourself and one quality you don't like
Would LOVE to have you join us! I'm an AAM scrap therapy kinda girl, but I also would love to learn more about everyone through their pages!
@y_baros LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! Not only is your design and layering fantastic but you totally rocked the prompt. So honest and straight up.
You can do a photoless LO!!! Or practice your selfies and just throw one on!! The thing I love about the AAM prompts is you can interpret it anyway you want.
@chickypow thanks, babe! I think I'm really going to enjoy this AAM thang - it was a fun prompt, even if it was slightly uncomfortable!
haha I think if it isn't slightly uncomfortable it isn't honest. Even the fun happy ones can be uncomfy cause we are so used to writing / showing off everyone else. Let's Rebel!!! lol
I've gotten out of the habit of doing these so thanks for the prompt @chickypow! They're great for the pages...Before I Was Your Mother or In Addition to Being Your Mother. We are so much more than spouses and parents.
Exactly! To our kids we are just "mom". I want my kids to see that I was a real person, both the good and the bad and the fun and the sad. The me time, the friends time etc. I want them to know who I am / was.
Summer is crazy for us. Kids sports and when we have free time we are riding on the Harley. I've missed it! Love learning more about all of you!
