I LOST a layout!!!! How do you lose a layout????? I am pulling my hair out! I am usually a fast scrapper, but yesterday I spent a lot of time on the day 11 journaling layout. I mean at least 3 hours, which is crazy for me. But it was SOOOOOO special!!! I keep a sticky note on my desktop with a list of each layout I do and what kits I used to make it easier when I post them. I went to add day 12 today and noticed day 11 was not listed. I went into my Lilypad folder and its not there. I went back through folders I knew I had been in to see if I accidently saved it to the wrong place. I even did a computer search using the name of the layout-------NOTHING!!!!!!!!! I am just SICK!!!!!! The only thing I can think of is, I shut down PSE before saving it-----something I NEVER do!!!!!! Well-----until now!!!! Can I cry???????

Wouldn't PSE have warned you when you tried to shut down without saving? I hope you find it!

No, PSE 11 does not have a warning. Not that I know of.

Does PSE have the temporary file location?
Can you try searching your computer for .psd files modified yesterday?

Click on the file menu File menu like you open a file but instead of choosing open, choose open recent. There should be a list of files you have had open recently. Mine saved 10 at a time.

I haven’t had PSE in a few versions so I hope it’s still there.

Well, I tried all ideas and finally went ahead and did another layout. Totally different than the first, but I like it better. But I am a blubbering emotional wreck right now!!! But, they are happy tears. You will see why when I upload it. Off to upload days 9, 10 and the lost 11 now.

That is so frustrating. I'm glad you ended up with a layout that you like better.

Ugh, I can so relate. I think I've done this more than I am willing to admit. At least saved to a point then closed out the finish page without saving...or a crash. Pfft, we feel your pain and sooooo glad you like the 2nd creation better! What a wonderful outcome.
