yeah, i figured. it's called different things, to differentiate between the eating ones and the jack o;lantern kind--- which i would think isn't too prevalent in your area anyway? so maybe yours are just called pumpkin?
I'm so trying this. I can eat through a pan of brownies in no time. I always say that no one should stand between me and a pan of brownies.
We have had Jessica Seinfeld's brownies with spinach in them and even knowing there was spinach my kids liked them. Eryn, you would need to put it in a muslin or a fine sieve to get some of the liquid out, but any pumpkins would be fine. (just so you know I am Australian too, but have lived in the US)
lol!! that made me laugh! Sounds like a nickname or something...I carry my little butternut around in my bag and call it pumpkin! Seriously we do have some different types...but I've only ever seen a max of 3 at the shops. Butternut, Kent and something!
oh, now interesting... so we have butternut SQUASH (love it) here... is pumpkin synonymous with squash there? i don't even know... maybe they are here too ha!
I think pumpkins are part of the squash family But here the only things called 'squash' are the little tiny yellow pumpkin looking thingies! All the big ones like butternuts are pumpkins
Congratulations! On both accounts! I am a WW too! I have lost nearly 60lbs in the last year and a half...
if you eat a whole pan of black bean brownies it should read " no one should stand between me and the bathroom..." there's a LOT of fiber in these babies!
